Grace is 20 months old today. She is talking more and more every day with so many new words I have lost track of how many. She now says "Nicks" for Nicholas. She likes to say "watch" to ask us to watch her do something, and "be right back" when she is going to another room. She also learned how to say "no" and "mine" this month...oh my...the 2's are right around the corner! She likes to sing and do the actions of "Itsy Bitsy Spider" and attempts to sing "Jesus Loves Me." She likes to finish the sentence for us on each page of "Goodnight Moon" and is always bringing books to us to read to her.
This month she has learned to climb....climb up on chairs, the couch, our bed, even some climbing walls at the playground!
She has also become quite the little mommy lately and has started playing with her dolls a lot. She rocks them, sits them at the table and feeds them with her play food, tucks them in to bed, puts them in Henry's swing and bouncy seat with a blanket, and is almost always carrying one with her throughout the day. She is also very motherly with Henry. She goes to him any time he fusses, she loves to put his paci in his mouth for him and she is always bringing him toys to play with and just talking to him or playing with him. Henry just lights up when she is around. Grace, you are such a sweet heart and we love you!
I caught this moment with my phone while shopping for the first time with Grace and Henry in the double stroller. She spontaneously held his hand most of the time we were in the mall!
